The life cycle of bats

Bat’s life cycle begins after hibernation. Hibernation is an extended period of deep sleep that allows animals to survive in cold winters.

Female and male bats mates multiple times with various partners to enable successful infertility. It takes a female bat 50 to 60 days for the gestation period. Female bats give birth to a single pup, and these newborns attach themselves to their mum’s body while on a flight.

They mature between 9 months to a year. Most bats live less than 20 years in the wild, but about 6 species of bats can live more than 30years.
