Description of the Tengard SFR Permethrin Insecticide

Tengard
A Picture of the Tengard SFR Permethrin Insecticide

Professional-grade pesticide Tengard SFR kills subterranean termites and other wood-infesting insects in as little as 14 days after application.

Permethrin 36.8%, the active ingredient in this formulation, works to overexcite the neurological system of the insect, causing paralysis and ultimately death.

This all-in-one insecticide attacks resistant termites in residential and commercial buildings in addition to common interior and outdoor pests, including silverfish.

Tengard SFR provides several methods of pest management in different application locations without emitting an overpowering, unpleasant smell.

Up to 20 gallons of completed solution can be made from one quart of this product to manage invasive pests that are infesting basements, wood, foundations, and other areas.

How To Use Tengard SFR Permethrin Insecticide

  • Follow the Tengard SFR Permethrin Insecticide Label Instructions and Apply:

Measure the length and width of the treatment areas in feet, then multiply the results to find the square footage (length x width).

Use the square footage divided by one acre to get the acreage (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acre).

Use 0.9 to 1.8 fl. oz. of Tengard SFR per 4 to 25 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet of ornamental plants, depending on the pest.

Use one to five.35 quarts of product for every 100 gallons of water while caring for ornamental trees.

Use 0.4 to 0.8 fluid ounces of the product for every 4 to 25 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet of lawns. For precise application rates and limitations, see the label.

Once the water in your chosen sprayer is halfway full, add the measured amount of Tengard SFR to the spray tank.

You are now prepared to spray after adding the remaining half a gallon of water to the spray tank and shaking it to thoroughly mix the contents.

For optimal control, apply the Tengard SFR mixture to the targeted regions. Set the nozzle to a pin stream for areas with cracks and crevices and to a fan spray for broadcast applications. Reapply the product every two to four weeks, based on the pest to be targeted and the application area.
