Certainty Herbicide is a grass and broadleaf weedkiller that is simple to apply and has a wide-ranging label. This water-dispensable granule is simple to use, and it offers dependable control over weeds that are difficult to maintain.

This is made possible by the active component sulfosulfuron 75%, which may be applied to turf without causing any damage during any of a number of different seasons.

The fact that it can be sprayed either directly or over the top to newly planted turf as well as established ornamentals exemplifies the versatility of this product.

Certainty Turf Herbicide is an ideal herbicide for rapidly removing weeds in warm-seasoned turf, which results in the successful removal of undesirable cool-seasoned turfgrass such as fescue, perennial ryegrass, Poa annua, and poa trivialis.

For smaller treatment areas, use 0.75 oz. (equal to 1 large (0.8 gram) scoop) per 3 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. The combined sum of all treatments must not exceed 2.66 oz. of this product per acre per year.
  • With a sprayer of your choice, fill the sprayer 3/4ths of the way with water and add the necessary amount of Certainty Turf Herbicide needed for your application.
Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with water, close the lid, and shake the sprayer firmly to ensure it is blended.
After blending, you can add and mix in a nonionic surfactant to enhance the product (at a rate of 2 teaspoons or 1/3rd fl. oz. per gallon of water).

Conclusion

Fast-acting, root and leaf absorption of Certainty Herbicide allow for quick control of target weeds. Although visible symptoms take up to 24 hours to appear, treatment immediately halts the growth of susceptible weeds.

Within two to three weeks, susceptible weeds will begin to turn brown or yellow. For effective and versatile management of purple and yellow nutsedge, try using Certainty Turf Herbicide.

Certainty Turf Herbicide, when mixed with a non-ionic surfactant, is effective against nutsedge whether it is used in a broad spray or in targeted areas.

The herbicide’s effectiveness can be hastened by warm, damp weather after treatment. The effects will be delayed in cold, dry weather. Drought-stressed weeds are more resistant to this treatment.
