How To Use Expel Turf Herbicide?

  • Do Your Calculation:

Square footage is calculated by multiplying the treatment site’s length and width. Divide the square footage by one acre to get the acreage (square footage / 43,560 = acre).

Expel Turf Herbicide will be used at a rate of 4 to 8 ounces per 10 gallons of water per acre for cool-seasoned grasses.

  • Follow The Expel Turf Herbicide Label Instructions:

Fill your chosen sprayer halfway with water, add the prescribed amount of Expel Turf Herbicide, and then fill it up with water again. Shake the fluid thoroughly while shaking the sprayer tank lid.

  • Apply:

Spray the weed’s surrounding soil and plant base with low pressure until they are thoroughly moistened. Before using a second treatment, wait 35 days after the initial application.

Prior to sprigging, overseeding, or reseeding, wait at least one month following product application for the best results.
