Apply, FiPro foaming aerosol to any cracks crevices, and wall voids. This is a non-repellent foam, so the ants will unknowingly come into contact with it.

Returned to the colony and contaminate others, apply FiPro around windows, doors, plumbing under sinks or into walls.

Using Puff D Insecticide Bulb Duster:

You can also Puff D insecticidal duster like a defense. Dust and avoids treating outside with a non-repellent insecticide like Dominion L or Taurus SC.

Mix it with water following label instructions in a pump sprayer, create a barrier around your home or business by spraying 2-3 feet up the wall and 2-3 feet out.

Also, spray around windows doors around eaves, entry points, or where pipes penetrate the wall. You can also spread and spot infested areas with Puff D.

Carpenter ants can be around the property, ensure you treat any cracks or crevices that you have found with FiPro foam.

 

Step 4: Carpenter Ants Prevention

Finally, preventing any pest you’re controlling is the last step you have to attempt to ensure effective pest control.

  • Prevent carpenter ants from returning by removing any wood, debris from your property
  • Trim vegetation back from the home or building
  • Get rid of stacked firewood as far away as you can from your property
  • You can also use Bora-care insecticide to prevent carpenter ants.
