Oryzalin 4 by Control Solutions Inc. is a pre-emergent professional herbicide. Oryzalin is the active ingredient and prevents unwanted annual grasses and broadleaf weeds from growing.

Use it around trees and shrubs or in flower beds. Oryzalin 4 offers 2 to 8 months of continuous control, preventing the emergence and takeover of targeted plants.

Oryzalin 4 is compatible with post-emergent herbicides that are label-approved.

How To Use Oryzalin 4 Herbicide?

  • Do Your Calculations:

To get the total area to be treated, multiply the length by the width. Treatments of Oryzalin should be performed at a rate between 1.5 and 3 oz. Per 1,000 square feet, you can use a gallon of water.

Use 3 fl. oz. Per 1,000 for a 4-8-month control. You would need six ounces to treat a 2,000-square-foot area. oz. Oryzalin 4, mixed with two gallons of water.

  • Follow The Oryzalin 4 Herbicide Label Instructions:

Add half of the water in the spray tank to your sprayer and then the Oryzalin 4, based on the calculations.

As a spray pattern indicator, it is recommended that you add a surfactant like Alligare 90 or Vision Pro Max.

Add the products at 0.33 oz. per finished gallon for Alligare 90 and 0.6 oz. of Vision Pro Max per gallon. Per finished gallon of Alligare 90, and 0.6 oz Vision Pro Max. Fill the tank with water to the last ounce and shake the tank well.

  • Apply:

Spray the areas you want to be wet. Follow up by watering them with a minimum of 1/2 inch of water in the next 21 days.
