Tempo Ultra WP Insecticide: How To Use

A hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or professional spray gear is required to apply Tempo Ultra WP insecticide. Our recommendation for treating cracks and crevices is the handheld pump sprayer.

Since these are the main places where pests crawl, be sure to spray three feet up the foundation and three feet out when applying an insecticide barrier around a building.

Produced by Bayer, Tempo Ultra WP insecticide is a water-soluble package that kills a wide variety of insects quickly.

The active component, 10% beta-cyfluthrin, offers rapid death and a long-lasting residual barrier against various insects.

Tempo Ultra WP can be applied as a broadcast treatment to outdoor surfaces or as a crack and crevice spray to indoor areas.

Tempo Ultra WP eliminates plant pests like cockroaches, flies, bed bugs, aphids, and more. It also controls the hardest-flying and biting insects.

How To Use Tempo Ultra WP Insecticide

  • Follow the Tempo Ultra WP Insecticide Label Instructions and Apply:

Square footage is calculated by multiplying the area width by the length (measured in feet).

Tempo WP can be applied to an area up to 1,000 square feet by mixing it at a 0.025% dilution of 10 g (2 scoops) per gallon of water or a 0.05% dilution of 20 g (4 scoops) per gallon.

Therefore, you would need to combine 6 to 12 scoops of Tempo Ultra WP with at least 3 gallons of water to treat, say, 3000 square feet.

Start by adding the right number of scoops and water to the spray tank for general-purpose applications created with a handheld pump sprayer. Until the powder is entirely dissolved, shake the spray tank.

Apply the Tempo Ultra WP insecticide solution with a coarse, low-pressure spray to the surface regions, cracks, and crevices mentioned.

Fish tanks and all pets should be removed from the room before applying any paint indoors. Before reentering, let the regions dry out.
