Bifen insecticide contains bifenthrin, it’s used to eliminate roaches ants, spiders, and many other different types of insects. Bifen insecticide can be used both indoors and outdoors, inside use requires one ounce per gallon of water.

On the outside, the same measurement is applied for one ounce per thousand square feet, it has a very low odor and will last anywhere from four weeks up to about three months.

  • Want to use a pump sprayer, you’re going to mix 1 ounce per gallon of water. I prefer you do the mixing outside. That way if I make a mess, it’s easy to clean up.
  • It is important to fill your tank with a half-gallon of water. And then on the Bifen, we are going to use one ounce we squeeze the bottle. Up to the point where it indicates one ounce when you take that for that inner sprayer.
  • You’re going to fill the remaining half-gallon of water in the sprayer. After that, you’re getting ready to spray.

How to use Bifen IT Insecticide to Eliminate Fleas and Ticks

But this time we are going to use it in a hose-end sprayer instead of a pump sprayer.

  • You’re going to fill our sprayer halfway with water. And then we’re going to use one ounce of Bifen IT insecticide per thousand square feet.
  • The next thing you need to do is determine how many square feet that you need to treat based on that application rate.
    If we have 2,000 square feet, you’re going to use two ounces of Bifen IT in our hose-end sprayer. So at that point, You’re going to mix 2 ounces. Again. This container is 1 ounce.
  • You’re going to pour that into your sprayer and ensure it’s one ounce you poured into your sprayer. Now, we have enough product to treat 2,000 square feet filled with water to 10 gallons.
  • Mark then cap and you are ready to spray now. You have got our sprayer filled with this insecticide. It becomes well mixed for spraying.
  • Choose a suitable position to start spraying, you can start at the back of the yard to the front so that you don’t work walk on the products and spray to make sure that you get good complete coverage.

 

How To Use Bifen Insecticide To Get Rid of Termites

  • Making a trench for your home’s foundation requires the use of a shovel or other suitable tool to dig out the area and the disposal of the soil in a wheelbarrow. The trench should be 6 inches in width and depth.
  • Use 1 completed gallon of Bifen IT solution per 10 square feet under the concrete slab as a pre-construction horizontal barrier treatment.
    In order to properly treat the trench around your home, you will need 4 gallons of diluted solution at 0.06% for every 10 linear feet of trench.
    Carefully pour the Bifen IT solution into the trenches at 10-foot intervals after thoroughly mixing the solution. Slowly pour the Bifen IT into the trench to ensure uniform distribution.
  • Repeat this process until the entire perimeter trench has been treated with the Bifen IT solution, and then fill it in.
  • After that, you need to treat the soil you used to fill the trench back up with a 1-gallon solution of Bifen IT using a hand pump sprayer.
