Active Ingredients Used to Produce Lysol Disinfectant

  • Alkyl (50 percent C14, 40 percent C12, 10 percent C16) (50 percent C14, 40 percent C12, 10 percent C16)
  • A concentration of 0.10 percent of dimethyl benzyl ammonium saccharinate.
  • Ethanol at a concentration of 58.00 percent
  • Other Ingredients account for 41.90 percent of the total. Total – 100.00 percent.
  • A fluid that functions as a sanitizer is 40–30% ethanol/SD Alcohol
  • Isopropyl alcohol, 1% to 2%; a sanitizing agent and odor remover; a key ingredient in Lysol’s strong odor.
  • Chloro-benzyl phenyl (5–6%) is an antiseptic and disinfectant agent.
  • o-Phenylphenol, antiseptic, 0.1 percent; in use since the 1980s.
  • Three-to-four percent potassium hydroxide
  • 0.10% micro biocide, alkyl (C14, C12, and C16) dimethyl benzyl ammonium saccharinate,
  • Dimethylbenzylammonium chloride, 0.08 % ; antiseptic.
  • The antimicrobial alkyl (C12-C16) dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride contains just 0.02%.
