  • Do Your Calculations:

Calculate the area of the treatment. Multiply the area’s length in feet by its width (length X Width = square footage).

Divide the square footage by an acre when treating large areas, such as acres (square footage/43,560 =acre). Use between 2.0 and 5.0 oz.

Hornet WDG herbicide can be applied in amounts between 2.0 and 5.0 oz. Never exceed a total rate of application greater than 6.0 oz. Hornet WDG Herbicide should not be applied to more than 6.0 oz.

  • Follow The Hornet WDG Herbicide Label Instructions:

The packets should not be opened. Fill the tank half full of water and then add the desired amount of Hornet Herbicide.

The water-soluble packets will float to the surface of the water until the film is dissolved and the product is released.

Pour the remainder of the water into the spray tank and stir the solution until the product is evenly distributed. Add spray adjuvants for foliar post-emergent applications last to the tank.

  • Apply:

Before spraying, make sure the packets are completely dissolved. Also, ensure that all of the product has been thoroughly mixed in with water.

By adjusting the spray nozzle on a low-pressure setting, you can avoid spraying corn. Spray from a lower height and coat both the top and the bottom of emerging weeds.

Treat the soil in the top 2 to 3 inches of the seedbed for pre-planting and preemergence. After a surface application, irrigate the treated areas to a depth of 2 inches with enough water.
