Firstrate Herbicide is a water-dispensable granule that offers complete control of broadleaf and glyphosate-resistant weeds, as well as versatility at the time of application.

This herbicide is cloransulam methyl 84% which is effective against many glyphosate-resistant weeds like ragweed and pigweed.

The herbicide Easily Firstrate can be used throughout the year in different crop rotation cycles as a soil-applied program, a preplant incorporated product, and a preplant surface product, if preemergence is desired, or if postemergence is required.

Firstrate Herbicide offers maximum convenience and flexibility as it can be tank mixed with other broadleaf and grass herbicides. When used according to label instructions, this herbicide is safe for weed control.

How To Use Firstrate Herbicide?

  • Do Your Calculations:

Square footage is calculated by multiplying the length and width of an area in feet (length X Width = square footage). Divide the square footage by 43,560 to get the acreage (square footage divided by 43,560 = Acreage). Use 0.3-0.6 oz. It can be used in 15 gallons per acre.

  • Follow The Firstrate Herbicide Label Instructions:

Pour the herbicide into the tank, and then add the water to fill it up the remainder of the way. Close the lid of the sprayer tank and stir until thoroughly mixed. Keep the spray tank constantly agitated to avoid material settling.

  • Apply:

Pre-plant applications should be made by applying the Firstrate Herbicide mixed solution to the top 1 to 3-inch layer of the seedbed. Post-emergent treatments can be made on the top and bottom surfaces of emerging weeds.

Firstrate Herbicide can be used to treat weeds that have germinated later if the total amount of Firstrate Herbicide applied per acre is not 0.6 oz.

Irrigate the treated area with 0.5 inches of water within one week to ensure that the herbicide can penetrate the soil and treat any weeds that may germinate.

When Do I Use the Firstrate Herbicide?

This herbicide should be applied on days with low wind and calm conditions. The soil should not be frozen, snow-covered, or compacted.

Pre-emergence treatments are applied two days following planting to prevent weeds and crops from emerging.

Post-emergent applications can be used to treat weeds that have emerged, at any time before the soybeans reach their R2 growth stage (full bloom).

The application of herbicides before the full emergence (full leaf) of the soybean trifoliate leaves may cause temporary yellowing and chlorosis.
