Regularly, clean the inside of your car to eliminate crumbs and attractive aromas, make sure to wipe down.

Vacuuming: Vacuum the dashboard, floor mats, car seats, cup holders, and the sides of doors.

Trash all waste: Ensure all food litter and waste are properly trashed and disposed of. If you terminate all food sources, your surrounding becomes less conducive for rodent activity.

Conduct lawn maintenance: Mow your grass to an appropriate height, ensure it is not too tall and keep bushes and other ornamental shrubberies neatly trimmed. Breakaway any fallen leaf litter and pick up debris, like any bark or fallen twigs and branches. This will reduce any hiding places for rodents to retreat to.

Block all openings: If you store your vehicle or machinery inside of a garage or workshop block entry points by sealing cracks and crevices with caulking and copper mesh.

How to Get Rid of Rat Infestation in your Car with Pest Control Products

You can apply some pest control products in and around where your vehicle is stored. Make sure your vehicle is off before setting any products.

These products will need to be picked up and removed prior to reactivation start by setting easy set road and snap traps in front and behind the vehicle seats in the trunk and on top of tires.

Using Easy Set Snap Trap

These are the most frequent spots rodents will travel through if they have infested your car. These traps come in two different sizes, a larger size for rats, and a smaller size for mice, easy set snap traps are made with a stir durable plastic.

The design makes it easier and safer to set and it’s more sanitary when disposing of e-card rodents. Check these traps on a daily basis to remove any eliminated rats or mice in addition to snap traps.

 

Using Eradication Rodent Bait Set

You will also want to set out a bait product. We recommend you use an eradication rodent bait set inside of a rat and mouse bait station. When used together, these products will provide rodents with an ideal feeding location as they consume the lethal bait blocks.

Set eradication into the station, close the station and set up your bait along where the rodents are likely to travel near your vehicle or machine. Rodents will be attracted to eradication scent, consume the bait inside the station, and will die in the field within 5 to 7 days.

It may take up to 2 weeks to see a noticeable reduction in rodent activity. We recommend you use at least 2 stations set, 15 to 30 feet apart. Check your stations, once a day to replenish your bait blocks until your rodent activity ceases.
