What Is the Propiconazole 14.3 Select?

This product is also capable of performing the duties of a flare root-injected systemic fungicide, which can be used to treat and prevent a variety of diseases that affect trees.

Propiconazole, which is present in this fungicide at a concentration of 14.3%, provides effective residual control against diseases for at least 30 days.

It accomplishes this by blocking the incorporation of ergosterol into the cell membranes of growing fungi, which in turn disrupts the early stages of fungal growth. The proliferation of fungal cells is inhibited in the absence of ergosterol.

This fungicide has a long-lasting residual effect, which results in reduced applicator usage rates. Due to its low-odor formulation, Propiconazole 14.3 Select is undetectable once it has been applied to the affected area.

How To Use Propiconazole 14.3 Select Fungicide

• Propiconazole 14.3 mg dosage should be determined. Measure the total surface area of the treatment area before making a decision about what to use.
  In order to accomplish this, first determine the length and width of the treatment area in feet, and then multiply these two numbers together to determine the square footage of the area.
  To calculate the acreage of a property, simply take the square footage and divide it by one acre (acreage = square footage divided by 43,560 square feet).
  Propiconazole 14.3, in concentrations ranging from 0.5 to 4 fluid ounces per application, may be used to treat a variety of diseases. Per 1,000 square feet of turfgrass, select one gallon of water.
  When treating ornamental plants for disease, use anywhere from 2 to 24 fluid ounces of this solution for every 100 gallons of water.
  Use between 6 and 8 fluid ounces of the product per 100 gallons of water once every 21 days for the purpose of controlling illnesses in landscapes. It is not recommended to apply more than 1.79 pounds of product at one time.
  This is equivalent to applying 1.4 gallons of product per acre or 4 fluid ounces of product per 1,000 square feet. It is not recommended to apply more than 5.4 gallons of product per acre per calendar year to turf, nurseries (field), or landscape plantings when the product is being used outside.
• The first step is to fill your sprayer with one-half of the total amount of water, after which you will add the prescribed amount of Propiconazole 14.3 Select and the second half of the water. Put the cover back on the sprayer tank, and shake the contents until they are thoroughly combined.
• Spray the tops and bottoms of the plant leaves with a low-pressure setting until the leaves are saturated. It is important to wait until the area that has been sprayed is totally dry before beginning to water in order to prevent foliar diseases.
  After application, giving the treated area a sprinkling of water will help prevent the spread of diseases that are transmitted through the soil.
  There is a possibility that more applications will be required; for information regarding the appropriate frequency of such treatments, please consult the product label.

 

What Are Additional Tips on How To Use the Propiconazole 14.3 Select Fungicide?

• Before adding the mixture to the spray tank, you should always perform a jar test to ensure that the water, Propiconazole 14.3 Select, and any other chemicals that will be utilized are all compatible with one another.
• Ensure that the tank mix receives an adequate amount of mechanical or jet agitation throughout the filling and application processes so that it remains uniformly suspended.
• At a minimum, fill the tank up to the halfway point with clean water.
• Then, add any wettable powders to the tank, and then wait until those powders have been totally suspended in the tank before continuing. Before putting the product in the tank, it is recommended to first combine it with water and then speed up the process by doing so.
• The next step is to incorporate flowable or suspensions.
• Add Propiconazole 14.3 Select next.
• Add emulsifiable concentrates last.
• It is not recommended to leave tank mix combinations in the spray tank for extended periods of time without stirring. Combine them, then use them on the same day.

 

How Do I Use Propiconazole 14.3 Fungicide In Tanks?

• It is possible to tank mix Propiconazole 14.3 Select with other fungicides in order to achieve control over a wider range of symptoms. Moreover, Propiconazole 14.3 Select is compatible with a wide variety of herbicides as well as insecticides.
• Before you mix the tanks, make sure everything is compatible. When mixing tank contents that are incompatible with one another, add 3 ounces of Unite per 100 gallons. For tank mixes, be sure to follow the instructions found under MIXING INSTRUCTIONS.
• Always follow the instructions, safety concerns, and restrictions listed on the packaging of any and all items used in tank mixes. • A correct diagnosis of the organism that is causing the disease must be made before any fungicide may be applied. In order to determine the most effective methods of disease control, it is necessary to use diagnostic kits or some other method of identifying the disease-causing organism.
• It is not recommended to apply more than 5.4 gallons of product per acre each year, nor should you apply more than 16 fluid ounces of product per 1,000 square feet every calendar year.
• Do not allow animals to graze in areas that have been treated. Never feed cattle or fowl any clippings that have come from an area that has been treated.
• There is some evidence that Propiconazole 14.3 Select is toxic to Bermuda grass. For any species of Bermuda grass, you should not apply more than 4 fluid ounces per 1,000 square feet once every 30 days.
