How Do I Describe the RoundUp QuikPro Herbicide?

Roundup Quikpro Herbicide
The RoundUp QuikPro Herbicide

The herbicide, Roundup QuikPRO  contains a mixture of glyphosate and diquat, for the purpose of achieving rapid control of persistent weeds.

It is effective against most annual and perennial weeds and provides systemic post-emergence control without being selective.

Because Roundup QuikPRO is designed to be a water-soluble granule that already contains surfactant, there is no need for any additional surfactant to be used.

After dissolving the product and thoroughly combining it with water in accordance with the directions on the label, apply using most ordinary sprayers.

Because Roundup QuikPro comes in the form of water-soluble granules that already contain a surfactant, there is no requirement for the addition of a separate surfactant.

  • Do Your Calculations:

In order to accomplish this, you will need to take measurements of the target area and multiply its length by its breadth (length times width equals square footage).

RoundUp QuikPRO has different rates depending on whether you are treating an annual (1.2 ounces in a gallon per 1,000 square feet), perennial (1.5 ounces in a gallon per 1,000 square feet), brush (1.5 ounces in a gallon per 1,000 square feet), or low-volume directed spray.

If you are treating an annual, the rate is 1.2 ounces in a gallon per 1,000 square feet. If you are treating a perennial, the rate is 1.5 ounces in a (4.0 oz. to 8.0 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft).

  • Mix:

After that, pour the right amount of water into the sprayer, and then swirl or agitate the contents of the sprayer until they are completely combined.

If you’re using a backpack sprayer, mix the RoundUp QuikPro and water in a separate, larger container first, and then, once the two have thoroughly combined, pour the solution into the sprayer itself.

  • Apply:

It is recommended that you use a fan spray setting when applying the RoundUp QuikPro mixture to areas where undesirable vegetation is already developing.

This will ensure that the mixture is spread out evenly. Spray the plant material until it is completely soaked, but not to the point where it is dripping or running off.
