How Do I Describe the Tim-Bor Professional Insecticide?

Tim-Bor Professional Insecticide
The Tim-Bor Professional Insecticide

Applying Tim-Bor Professional Insecticide to different kinds of hardwood surfaces creates a barrier that guards against fungus and insect damage. The solution is a natural mineral salt that can be used as a liquid spray, dust, or foam.

Tim-Bor is used to coat the surface of the wood with a barrier to effectively prevent pest infestations; it cannot be used to treat wood that has already become afflicted.

Tim-Bor is practically odorless and has a low toxicity rate, therefore it doesn’t offer much of a concern. A fantastic, affordable product to have as part of a strategy to avoid water damage and bugs that destroy wood is Tim-Bor Insecticide.

How To Use Tim-Bor Insecticide?

  • Do Your Calculation:

Measure the area in feet, then multiply the length by the width to get the square footage. Depending on the kind of treatment procedure you choose, there are different application rates.

  • Tim-Bor can be blended in a 10% or 15% solution at a rate of 1.0 lb or 1.5 lb per gallon to cover 1,000 sq. ft. of wood surface area for standard liquid spray applications.
  • Use 5 gallons of liquid solution per 1,000 square feet of surface for corrective or preventative treatments.
  • For foam applications, add foaming ingredients to your foam sprayer at a rate of 1 to 2 oz per gallon in addition to the 15% 1.5 lb rate per gallon.

  • Follow The Tim-Bor Professional Insecticide Label Instructions and Mix:

For liquid applications, fill the sprayer tank or bucket with 80% of the necessary water, agitate the water, and then slowly pour the appropriate amount of Tim-Bor into the bucket (based on your calculations).

We advise mixing 1 pound of Tim-Bor with 1 gallon of water for general use. The remaining water should be added to the bucket, and the mixture should continue to be stirred with the drill’s paddle bit until it has dissolved entirely.

Apply Tim-Bor on wooden surfaces by adding the combined solution to the spray tank. Tim-Bor powder should be added to a duster and the top should be sealed for dust applications.
