How to Use D-Fense Dust Insecticide

Use d-fense dust in trees, cracks, and crevices. Proper application of this product will leave no visible dust as you apply.

To use D-fense dust with a handheld duster;

  1. Open the bottle and pour the appropriate amount of dust into the duster reservoir for most handheld dusters, this is typically no more than half the reservoir’s volume.
  2. Close the duster and shape to break up the products.
  3. Most dusters should come with a small iron ball or a similar object to break up clumps.
  4. When ready, stick the duster spout into the area to be treated and apply it to D-fense dust.
  5. This insecticide has an application rate of 2 to 3 grams per square yard or half a pound per 1,000 square feet.
  6. Be sure to get an even coating on all surfaces in the area.
